Dialup Settings

Our modems support speeds from 300 baud up to 56K as well as ISDN. The modem numbers are:

Domain Name:

Our domain name is islandnet.com

Name Servers:

If you are setting up a domain name for use on Islandnet.com you'll need to know our primary and secondary name servers. These are:

ns1.islandnet.com199.175.106.253
ns2.islandnet.com199.175.107.253

These are only to be used in domain name configurations and cannot be consulted directly by end-users. If you need to specify a name server for doing DNS lookups you should use this one instead:

ns3.islandnet.com199.175.106.252

Customer Settings:

For the following examples we pretend that your islandnet.com username (aka "login name") is "bloggs". This would mean:

Your email address would be bloggs@islandnet.com

Your POP account would be bloggs@pop.islandnet.com

Your web address (URL) would be http://www.islandnet.com/~bloggs/

Note that the directory within your account where all web pages should be stored is www, which is automatically created for you when you create your account.
