Help Documents: Setting up your connection using the Connection Wizard

Click on the "Start" menu then click on run.

Make sure the box is empty then type in "icwconn1", press OK.

Choose to manually configure your connection, click Next.

Choose to connect through a phone line, click Next.

Untick the "Use area code and dialing rules" tick box.

In the telephone number box enter your local modem dialup number from the list below.

Victoria:            380-4731
Duncan:              715-0696
Nanaimo:             741-8995
Qualicom/Parksville: 468-7457

Click Next.

In the user name box enter your Islandnet username followed by "%ppp".

In the password box enter your Islandnet password, click Next.

Enter "Islandnet" as your connection name in the Name box, click Next.

If you wish to test your connection immediately click Finish.

If you wish to test your connection at a later time remove the tick, click Finish.
